How to read your monthly Statement and Service Invoice
In this article you will get a walkthrough of how we settle your activity with us on a monthly basis, and pointers on how to read the associated documents.
On the 10th business day of each month you will receive the monthly statement and service invoice for the last month. This means, that on the 10th business day in February you will receive the overview of your January activities with Bemakers.
Service Invoice - outlines the services you have received from Bemakers during the last month. It incl. costs for:
- Excise duties (excise taxes to be paid in countries of sales)
- Recycling (recycling fees to be paid in countries of sales)
- Shipping (transportation of orders)
- Fulfillment (check in, storage, pick n'pack, pr. hr services)
- Other services (Labels, on-off requests)
- Marketing Activities (Paid Media Activities, Events)
- Bemakers Monthly Subscription (based on your price plan)
- Bemakers Commission (based on your price plan)

We have updated the Service Invoice:
Note that from the 1st January 2024 we have introduced a refined price plan that also simplifies your monthly service invoice. The amount you are paying is the same but the service invoice looks different.
What have we changed:
- We have introduced five tiers in our price plan, and depending on functionality and expected sales a plan is chosen for each brand. Note that brands who have signed before 1st January 2024 will have until 1st September 2024 to migrate to one of the new tiers.
- Each tier is charged monthly as a Monthly Subscription.
- In each monthly subscription we have included an amount of sales that you don't pay commission on i.e. on the Essentials Plan the first EUR 500 is 'commission free' and thereafter you pay 12% in commission on sales.
- This means that we are moving away from charging for the "Monthly Minimum Commission" and the "Commerce Module" as two separate line items, and instead combining it in the monthly subscription.
