What is a CN Code?
The Combined Nomenclature Code is used for classifying goods to ensure the correct customs duty rate are applied [ref]. CN Codes are based on Harmonized System HS codes with further divisions for the EU [ref].
A Maker must assign a CN Code to each of their products.

70+ of the codes are regional such as "Wine from Sicily”.
Note: There is a correspondence between CN Codes and Excise Product Codes. A CN Code can be related to multiple Excise Product codes.
