How to configure your webshop settings?
Use this guide to find information on how to configure the global webshop settings and per Market webshop settings.
Let's get started!
- Go to Settings
- Select Webshop settings
- Once you are in the Webshop settings page you will see a few options on the top:
- GLOBAL - these define your global webshop configuration that applies to all webshop markets
- MARKET - these define a per-market configuration for webshops, allowing you to overwrite the global configuration for the specific market
- Choose GLOBAL at the top of the main Configuration page
- Click Edit settings.
Global Webshop settings
The global webshop settings applies to all of your webshops.
In the Company urls section you can add links to your homepage as well as social media profiles:
- Webshop homepage is where you set your Logo link. If you put a URL in this field, customers will be redirected to that URL when they click the logo. On the other hand, if you leave this field empty, customers will be redirected to your webshop homepage when they click on the logo
- Homepage is where you set the link to your main website which is shown at the bottom of your webshop
- The link to your Facebook profile or page
- The link to your Instagram profile
- The link to your Linkedin profile
In the Analytics section you can add tracking ids:
- Google analytics - Enter a valid Google Analytics Measurement ID. It should look like: “UA-XXXXXX-X” or "G-XXXXXXX." . Learn more on how Find your Analytics Property ID.
- Google Tag Manager - Add your container ID, formatted as "GTM-XXXXXX" to the field to install Tag Manager on your webshops.
- Facebook Pixel ID - Add your Facebook Pixel ID in the field
- Klaviyo - Add your Public API Key. To find it you can use instruction
In the SEO & Social section you can add information for Google and social media platform previews:
- SEO title - set the title that is shown in social media when you link to your webshop's Home page
- SEO description - set the description is shown in social media when you link to your webshop's Home page
Note: If a per-Market SEO title and SEO description are not defined then the global SEO title and SEO description will be used for the webshop.
In the Product Images Options section, you can customize how the product images are displayed on your webshop's collection pages:
- Select the Fill option if you prefer images to completely fill the container size. This setting ensures there are no empty spaces while maintaining the image's aspect ratio.
- Choose the Fit option if you want images to fit within the dimensions of the container while still preserving their aspect ratio. This ensures that the entire image is visible within the designated space without cropping.
Market Webshop settings
- Go to Settings
- Select Webshop settings
- Select the Market you would like to configure
- Click Edit settings
Note: If you have set up a global webshop settings and also set up a per-market webshop settings then the per-market settings will be used for that particular market.
In the Status section you can change the status of your webshop:
- Active - the webshop is reachable for customers
- Draft - the wesbhop is not reachable for customers
In the SEO & Social section you will by default see the Global SEO title and SEO description. You can change then if you want this webshop to have different SEO text.
- SEO title - set the title that is shown in social media when you link to your webshop's Home page
- SEO description - set the description is shown in social media when you link to your webshop's Home page
- If you changed either of these fields and you want to return to using the global SEO title or SEO description then just click on the Reset to default icon for the specific field.
- Or alternatively you can click on the Use global settings button to restore both the SEO title and SEO description at the same time
In the Payment methods section you can select the possible payment methods:
- Automatic - we'll select the relevant methods for each market, aiming at providing your customers with their preferred payment options. As we integrate new payment methods, they will be seamlessly added to your available options.
- Custom - Give you the flexibility to choose the payment methods offered to customers in each market. Note that any new payment methods we integrate will not be automatically added to your options.
