What are the different sales channels?
When setting up an order on Bemakers, you’ll need to select a Sales Channel that reflects where the order is coming from. Each sales channel serves different purposes and has specific regional availability. Here’s a breakdown of the channels Bemakers supports:
-
Webshop: Orders placed through the Bemakers e-commerce platform, either by individual consumers (B2C) or business users (B2B).
-
Amazon: Orders from Amazon, available only when shipping to Germany or Austria.
-
Faire: Orders from Faire, if your listing is enabled. This channel is available only in Denmark.
-
Systembolaget: Orders from Sweden’s Systembolaget, available only when shipping to Sweden.
-
Vinmonopolet: Orders from Norway’s Vinmonopolet, available only when shipping to Norway.
-
Bemakers Trade: Orders from customers within the Bemakers Trade network, allowing connections with various B2B buyers.
-
Bemakers Direct: Orders you manually create on the Bemakers platform, offering full control over order customization.
In addition to the sales channel, the Sales Channel & Order Details block includes other important fields like:
-
Customer Type: Choose between B2C (individual consumers) and B2B (business buyers) and Distributors.
-
Payment Method: Select how the payment will be handled (e.g., Invoice, Card, etc).
-
Fulfilled From: Choose the warehouse location that will handle the fulfillment of this order.
-
Postal Code (Destination): Enter the postal code of the delivery location. This helps calculate shipping costs.
-
Multiple Products in Order: Check this box if the order contains multiple products, which allows us to calculate fees for total volume.
-
Customer Pays for Shipping: Select this option if the customer will bear the shipping costs. Then shipping fee will not be calculated
Choosing the correct options in this section helps ensure accurate calculations and smooth order processing.
